One of my friends posted this: A fourth-grade teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up - fireman, mechanic, businessman, car salesman... and so forth. However, little Justin was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the teacher prodded him about his father, he replied, "My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes to music in front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and stay with him all night for money." The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and took little Justin aside. "Is that really true about your father?" "No," the boy said, "He works for the Democratic National Committee and helped to get Obama re-elected, but it's too embarrassing to say that in front of the other kids."

Obama has once again proven that not only does he have 0 qualifications to be the president of anything, let alone a superpower, but that he really has it in for Israel. And Kerry is his lackey. How did they miss the discovery of massive Oil reserves in Austaralia, Wyoming? The Natural Gas found in Israel? How is Obama so clueless when the rest of us know that the Arabs and Persians will soon be bankrupt as the rest of the world gets its oil and gas from cheaper and friendlier sources?

Thanksgiving on the first day of Chanukah.
Thanksgiving, according to historians, is the celebration of the Pilgrims fight to escape religious persecution for freedom in a new land, the establishment of a democratic charter and the sense of Divine providence that carried those refugees through their plight. That’s Chanukah, as well: a celebration of how the Jews fought back against religious oppression in our own Land, earned our freedom and thanked G‑d for the miracles.
The eight day Chanukah festival is a reminder of the Jewish people's struggle for freedom and liberty.
Origin of Chanukah:
When the Macabees went out to battle, they had no feasible chance of winning. Not only were the Jews fewer and weaker than the massive well-oiled Syrian Greek war machine, but amongst the Jews themselves, only a sparse few went out to battle under the command of Juda Macabee and his brothers. Thus the essential miracle of Chanukah was not the war victory, but rather the very fact that a few Jews realized that "things just cannot go on this way", they arose, and with immense faith in the Almighty, and in an act of incredible courage, declared war on the superpower of their day. Think of it like the movie the 300, except that the Jews didn't lose!
The relevance of Chanukah is pertinent in today as well. When masses of Islamic fundamentalist terrorists are against us, we that believe in democracy and freedom train for war while hoping for peace.
"Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle." Psalm 144:1

FOBUS Holsters CH Series
I had a the chance to field test the Fobus CH Series holster at the range. Here are my observations.
1. This innovative design features an Active Retention Release Button that is located on the holster to position the index finger alongside the slide/frame, well above the trigger which makes the draw safe. Additionally the CH Series Holsters also feature a tension screw that controls the passive retention. It's available in Left and Right Hand.
2. Like almost all the Fobus Holsters it can be purchased with either a FIXED Belt Slide, Shoulder Rig (new), Thigh Rig, Ankle or Paddle. It is also available in Modular adjustable cant Roto (with an Allen Bolt) which can be mounted on Belt Slide, Shoulder Rig, Thigh Rig, Molle and Paddle (so you can buy one holster and all of the mount options and switch them out as needed).
3. The Fobus CH Series holster is currently available for Models:
H&K USP Compact and Glock 17/19.
Video featuring the CH series.

I'm looking for a really good, cheap whisky that emulates the flavor of my favorites Bourbons: Bulleit, Eagle Rare, Wild Turkey 91 or Woodford Reserve. The Wild Turkey 81 sells for $20 a bottle (in the US) so let me know what you think is good for under $15 a bottle.

This page might get silly over the next few weeks as I will be sleeping on the couch due to my own poor judgement. I told Mrs. DoubleTapper this joke: A doctor was addressing a large audience.. "The material we put into our stomachs should have killed most of us sitting here, years ago. Red meat is full of steroids and dye. Soft drinks corrode your stomach lining. Chinese food is loaded with MSG. High transfat diets can be disastrous and none of us realizes the long-term harm caused by the germs in our drinking water. But, there is one thing that is the most dangerous of all and most of us have, or will eat it. Can anyone here tell me what food it is that causes the most grief and suffering for years after eating it?" After several seconds of quiet, a 70-year-old man in the front row raised his hand, and softly said, "Wedding Cake" Anyone know the moral of this story?
